The Ladies Mission Circle was formed in the early 1970s...over 40 years ago! To this day, the "circle" produces beautiful quilts and wonderful friendships. These quilts have gone to missionaries and people of our community...those who lost homes to fires, Hermitage Christian Care Center, and the WIC program for babies.
We collect aluminum tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, UPC labels for the Senior Center, can labels for Wheatland schools, and stamps that we send to the Missionary retirement home in Florida. We also communicate with the Missionary children at home on their birthdays.
Our group meets every 1st and 3rd Monday in the activity center at 9:00 AM. During the first monthly meeting, a brief business meeting is held, which includes discussion of current projects and future goals.
We would love for more to come and join us. We can always use extra hands for cutting fabric, designing and tying the quilts. There is also sewing for those that like to sew. Sew… come visit and join in an amazing fellowship.
